| I was wondering what people think should be changed if LEGO ever comes out with a RIS 2.0. Here are some of my ideas. More ports (4 in, 4 out) Better IR communication or radio comm. Sensors: Proximity Sensor Color Light Sensor More Sensitive Touch (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Belville and Technic are about the same size, the big difference is their hand. A Belville figure has a mini-fig size grip... whist the Technic guys (are they only guys) have a bigger grip. BTW... this is just an observation... I'm no expert -- (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Well, it's been a few days... I guess I'll put in the application for the train show as NCLTC unless anyone has any objections. We can always change the name later. | (...) I have asked this question before on RTL, and the answer I received was that Belville are not the same scale as Technic, though I don't know if they are larger or smaller. In addition to these three scales though, there is also 'bendy people' (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

| That would be a good trick. My understanding is that since it's dynamically generated content using a hybrid of HTML and Perl that Todd invented, it would be hard to put on a CD statically and still have the search work. one could, perhaps, write a (...) |
| I have a question that has been on my mind... What scale are the different figures ? And which catagories of sets are the figs of the same scale ? So far I know about minifigs, the figs in Technics (Chopper Force, etc). Is Bellville the same scale (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

| The LUGNet set search would be a much much better CD to have. The amount of times I connect to the web to access this is scary... having it on CD would suit me much better. -- Scott A Edinburgh, Scotland. (URL) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

| I use CD-R and CD-RW quite often to take instructions home... (that way my employer pays for the download). I'm always left think that one cannot beat the real thing, or printed scans for that matter. I suppose separate CD's of each LEGO genre or (...) | (...) Wow, you must be REALLY frustrated with all this :-| (...) You're missing the entire point of what 80 million people have already told you, "But it WAS posted." You are basically saying, "Well, if I hadn't have posted it, people wouldn't have (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.starwars)

| Err - John. I - er - don't have a daughter. I'm nowhere near having a daughter. I'm not even part of a couple yet. And not only that but when I do start going out with someone, I kinda hope it'll be with a girl who doesn't want any children. I buy (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
