  Re: 6056 - Brick 2 x 2 x 6 with Groove

(...) Terry has been talking about a strong suggestion that all new element submissions mention at least one set that the element comes or came in, but I don't suppose that's come to pass yet. So here's the list that I have: 2x2 Brick,Side Tall (...) (25 years ago, 15-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Logs

Thanks Tom. It's not the parts log per se' that I miss; I also miss seeing the progress through the lists and the notes of delight. I can completely understand the effor that it takes to list all of the parts. Thanks for your update. -Phil Watt (...) (25 years ago, 15-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Give me strength...

That reminds me of the bag full of Kabaya sets I brought home from Japan. I had two of each, and it took weeks before I could let the extra sets go. Every time I open a new lego box, it makes me think of the chocolate bars in the book "Charley and (...) (25 years ago, 15-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Wanted: Monorail and parts

(...) I certainly sympathise but if you want the 6399 Airport Shuttle set, the going rate is north of 300 for a used one. I've seen MIB go for 600. Even the space ones are north of 200, usually. Sorry but that's just the way it is. If it's worth the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Wanted: Monorail and parts

Ryan- It has nothing to do with being stupid or smart per se. Has everything to do with supply and demand. Supply is short (a given), and your demand appears high.
