  Re: Vehicle with square wheels

(...) I built one similar to yours last night (I put gears on both sides as an experiment). You're correct that it's the gear backlash that causes the wheels to not quite turn at the same time. Pushing the wheels down manually with your finger is a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 3T cube orientation

(...) Yes. hopefully, somebody will believe me at some point ;-). (...) Absolutely. To be fair, Matt has far more processing power than the RCX, extremely well-tested firmware, and a multi-year head start. (...) No, put it's one of the things I like (...)   Re: Factory Building

I tried to distinguish the top floor by changing the window pattern. It is really subtle when you look square on to the face of the building but when you're at 3/4 view they get rather exaggerated. Maybe I'll go back to the same pattern as below and (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Factory Building

(...) Looks good. Looks like an industrial type building: "nothing fancy" is the way it should be in my book. I love the color. The pattern on the top floor windows kind of hurt my eyes, though. Have you considered putting lattice fences over the (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Factory Building

Hi All, Jeremy Rear and I (GPLR) got together last night and finished up this new factory building. Nothing too fancy, built with a bunch of airplane windows from Pick-a-Brick. It's bley and dark bley with a couple red embelishments. I need to add a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Fun With LEGO® "Hot Wheels" (Pics)

(...) Probably "tuned" since the current term for such a car is an import tuner. Currently, I'm working on a (real life) Honda Accord 2dr EX coupe myself... Back on topic, though, I like the red one Ross! -Rob www.brickmodder.net (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

Re: Fun With LEGO® "Hot Wheels" (Pics)

(...) Coolness. Long low and mean looking. J2 builds big, but Ross builds well! (unless, tell us, did Ross build those big trees too??) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: 3T cube orientation

(...) You keep saying that. I've taught Matt to play Tic-Tac-Toe. I think he's doing better than you, at this point. (...) I think that shouldn't need saying. (...) I think it's up to the builder how/if it signals the game is over. It would be cool (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: Fun With LEGO® "Hot Wheels" (Pics)

(...) Indeed. The came out very nice. I just love most of the little racers sets and throw a few in the cart whenever I am shopping for other things at Target. One of the pictures reminds me of Fridays and Saturdays in desolate areas of Brooklyn and (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)
