Re: GPLR - Portland LEGO Store Diorama

(...) Yes great display guy's... While I was wondering why Chris was dodgeing us on this one we did get a window in place the weekend before Thanksgiving. No where near as vertical as yours but it has a holiday theme and we used some of the stores (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Thoughts about the Target thief

(...) The response is simple. If they drive a car, and chances are they do, simply point to the most recent article about a drunken speeding motorist killing someone and say "I hope you aren't doing this too." There's a word for judging a group (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Exporting Minifig to Maya - edgy model

(...) Hey, that sounds like really good idea though. Wonder why it didn't even cross my mind. I guess I wasn't That eager to render that minifig, but now I am :) I could easyly use the low-res fig as a template. However, I can recall I've seen (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: It's back! Long-Lost Jetpack Element Now Being Produced...

(...) I'm just a little horrified that you opened up your advent calendar before December. I've been wanting to for two months already, but I've patiently been waiting. It's okay. I love you anyway. (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Prossima sfida robotica (era XXI Legofest - Crema)

(20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Help me convert this train program to use events (NQC)

(...) If it were me, I'd destroy one small LEGO 9v wire. Cut the wire in half, and splice in a long segment of speaker wire. That would look better than a short layout, or the battery-powered train. Steve (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Design

I imagine that if I were to ever design a robot's functions on paper first, I'd probably use a finite state machine, since FSMs map to events pretty well. The robot's functions would have to be complex enough to make it worth it, though. For code, (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: GPLR - Portland LEGO Store Diorama

(...) :) Thank you. (...) Basically, yes. There's some small amount of play in there, but that's the size I measured with the store manager. (...) The word from the corporate office was to make sure it was professional, appealing, and reflected (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
