  Recensione set 8873 - 8874 - 8875

(20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Domanda sul regolamento

(...) Ciao. In effetti, c'e' una discrepanza tra le due proposte. La mia proposta era intesa a chiarire che gli oggetti devono essere ritenuti dal concorrente. Se possono esserci soluzioni che rendono banale il compito, e' giusto rivedere la norma. (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Gluing Lego

(...) Oateys All Purpose. That's what we used on KCCUSA(1) and it worked well. Noxious stuff so all the usual cautions apply, especially ventilation, although not quite as bad as MEK. Like MEK it works by melting the ABS so when the solvent (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  RE: different light readings...

Hi David, I am sorry that I did not clarify my question. Thank you very much for taking the time out to help though! I fully understand that variations that light sensor produces, and I do make calibration the first thing to do before I run my bots. (...)   Re: Pezzi danneggiati

(20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Hwy Tractor Trailer

Hello all! Here is the latest completed MOC(for the most part).   Gluing Lego

Hi folks, I need to glue together some Lego sculptures (ersatz FLL trophies--hey, I learned a new word from reading rtlToronto). Could someone recommend a glue that is easily available at Home Depot? I've read Methyl Ethyl Ketone was what they use (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.general)

  Domanda sul regolamento

Ecco alcune domande, o forse dovrei dire precisazioni... (...) "Raccogliere" ha un significato un po' vago...come è stata interpretata la proposta di Guido (URL) Una ruota e' considerata valida quando e trasportata a bordo del robot (...) Sono forse (...)   Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) I introduced stops around some of joints to help. Once the weight of the Mech exceeded the joints abilities, I surrounded some of the joints with bricks. Limiting some of the posability, yet continuing to use the rotational click hinges as the (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Searching For 2x4s

I don't have the extensive and organized storage methods that some here make use of - just LEGO boxes from parted out sets, buckets and tubs, using the holey plastic bags. As time goes by (and I move a few times) the old mental inventory gets a bit (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

  Re: Creator Tub #5369

(...) I noticed that at my Fry's (Kroger). I also noticed that they had a number of sets on sale if you have your VIP card. Anywere from $.60 to $12.00. Looks like they are attempting to clear the items out so that they can reload the toy (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: A hinging problem

(...) I forgot about that part completely! On revisiting this issue, I have a further problem with the space. :( I think it's even smaller--a 3x1 on the bottom and a 4x1 on the top. Any ideas? Thanks btw for reminding me about 2873...got a pile of (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: Are there varieties of 4679 box?

(...) Thanks Paul! I really enjoyed the surprise of opening each box last year. I got six of these new boxes, but I suspect I'll offer them to trade with other group members--perhaps there are items people in rtlToronto want more of? Calum (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Did you really get a 20 inch mech to support its own weight using only rotating click hinges? Really? Are you serious? No, really? That's a rather tricky thumb, as well. So you say both the heel and the toe pivot? Maybe future pics will make (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Control Lab Connection help

  Re: Basic NQC Problem

Thanks to both Brian and Ralph. Your responses were very detailed and helpful. I've played around with the suggested code and learnt a lot. Are events relatively new in NQC?
