Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

OK folks, Here's some updates to creating the "LETTER" about bulk sales. 1) Send it to KKK (not Peter Eio) and Jeroen will forward a copy to each member of the Executive Team. We will have to coordinate this so that KKK (mailed) receipt of the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lazy Tongs

Have you tried a variation on the rack-and-pinion steering design. The old "Expert" sets used it to some degree of success. Basically this involves using a 8-tooth gear and some of the flat "gear" plates. The 8-tooth gear rotates and pulls a 1 by X (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: New Cad Model

Hey, Pat, that's pretty cool. I like it. It looks like one mean fighter(that is what it's supposed to be isn't it? I didn't read any of the text.) Keep on bringin' the cool models :) Ryan "The World Series is now just on tape; God's reality is a (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.starwars)

  Complete list of Canadian participants?

Hello, I'm not sure if this exists already or not, but I'm just wondering if there is a complete list (perhaps on someone's website) of those who have asked to be added to the Canadian list? I'm just sort of curious how many of us there are, and (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Drab Box #1

(...) I did too! (in Vancouver) but to the Canadian Jambalaya thread, not this one... am I on the list or not? (Got a small pile of stuff here waiting to go in the box). Kevin (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: I'm just wasting time

(...) For the AT-ST, I recommend some springs attached to the legs to help support the load. It works surprisingly well. You may want to try antialiasing the links and header on every page. It'll make the page much more refined. --Bram When I saw (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

  Re: Lego VCR

(...) Yes, there is (assuming you include Linux in UNIX, which is quite common). But I haven't been able to run LDraw/LEdit under the DOS emulator (DOSEMU) yet. I have had pretty good luck with running LDLITE under WINE, though. It's pretty (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

(...) Sorry Tom, Naji is correct. 1) TRU really doesn't get a better deal on sets than most any other major retail outlet. You can check their cost on any set if you ask the store Director politely enough. Everyone gets sets at about 62% of MSRP (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  RE: New LEGO groups?

Kill them. a group for us.ca.ba is fine with me. Mark (...) (URL) do you think it would be more helpful if it were also linked to from other nearby pages? Certainly the subgroups of .sf and the main .ca (California) group might make sense. --Todd (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Box Cars

The idea has possibilities, as all of my box car sliding doors are gray:-p (except a red one borrowed from the 7722) Yo, Tom- when you do get around to building freight, why not try living dangerously and spend some time on the 8 wide side. As Cat (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)
