If i remember correctly, Modulex bricks *do* have a 1 to 1 ratio. They were designed by TLG later than the basic LEGO bricks, so this *suggests* TLG retrospectively would have preferred the simpler ratio for the LEGO system as well, but were (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Most of the sets were available in the UK, but only for a short time while the World Cup was on. In fact, TRU in Preston still has a whole bunch of the starter sets (the ones with the football pitch baseplates) - sadly going at full price. If anyone (...) Thanks but: No more diffs left I had to use two in the adder subtractor for the drive! I've a load of old style diffs but they are real awkward to use and hard to fit into a model except at the place where the were original designed to fit (between (...)
