  Re: Twisted Plastic

No, but I would think supercar wheels would work well for the one thats just a platform and wheels (don't know the name, only played it once). And you can use the larger rims off of a Mag Wheel Master with the supercar tires, it works real well. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Coolest mindstorms creation on the web

imho (URL) is the coolest mindstorms creation on the web, and another testimony to NQC. =) Those of you that have been checking out remote control of the RCX might want to check it out.   Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Well, you either found one of the stores I passed over, or they found some more in their warehouse, because I only skipped over stores that where asking too much, or ones that had 3 or less in stock.   Re: Using the Motor as a Tachometer

[mailed @ posted] (...) Howdy Andy (and everyone else), FWIW, I've _just_ completed a project very similar to this. There's all kinds of info on it at: (URL) source and pictures.   Re: SUPER SALE 4559 (yellow train)

(...) hehe Thomas, I hadn't checked the grammar quite as closely as you did. Maybe it's kind of like a "jambalaya" train set he's starting, one which you don't take or add pieces, in which case it's still off-topic :-) -Tom McD. when replying, don't (...) Totally agree with Jonathan's recommendation for storage. WorkForce Organizers ($4.33 at Home Depot here in San Diego) have 18 bins (with a good mix of sizes) and are stackable & spillproof. Their one long bin holds an RCX plus long (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I like NCLTC in case our friends in Charlotte (or wherever else) decide to join us. But if not, then I vote for RDULTC since that's the name of the airport. (...) This assumes that all pieces have the same value. As an absurd example, if you just count pieces you are counting the value of an RCX the same as 1x1 plate. In addition to that, you have marginal value to consider -- if I gave you 1000 1x1 (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
