Re: Any FPS or RTS AFOL modders out there?

I was wondering what happened to y'all. Glad to see you're still around. :) Sounds quite ambitious - I've reg'd on the forums, and y'all might see me over there. I'll be more than happy to share the source meshes for the CS weapons and minifigs from (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: Newbie questions about Lego CAD

(...) I recommend that you put the chassis as a sub-model relative to the main model. You can either do this using separate files, or you could use MPD. Use Multipart ->New model to start on the superstructure. Also make sure the superstructure (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Crazy idea for third-party Factory-like service

(...) I just tried this, but with mixed success. For example, I tried to buy parts for your Intermodal Spine Car. This produces "Oops! There was a problem processing your request: 1. Item #21: Item Not Found in Catalog." (You'd think it would then (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Panels to offer a 5-wide space in a 6-wide MOC

Re: Panels to offer a 5-wide space in a 6-wide MOC

(...) Strangely I was just thinking about this before I came online, but to hide a 4 wide technic motor in a five wide unit. Im going to have to experiment tho as the motor may be too big for the bigest panels. If not I'll have to use SNOTted (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Panels to offer a 5-wide space in a 6-wide MOC

(...) Hi Didier, I used also panels as wall for my AM96 project (SNOT technique). See rendered pictures of those cars: (URL) transparent blue windows are panels (1x2x3), also the white pieces under the windows are panels. Between the panels (length (...)   Re: Box scans of 320 Twin Engine Plane

(...) Dave, I checked my 320 box and mine says 123 Piece on both ends. I also noticed that my box says 320:270, where yours says 320 only. I've noticed this second number on many (most) Model Maker sets but I don't know what it means, or which style (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: First MOC or vignette to use new gold bricks...... I think?

Were those made with the "old gold" or the "new gold" ? :-) James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: BBB Train Hand Car

(...) For some projects I've used the old 14 tooth bevel gear for spacing. As far as I know it's the thinnest TECHNIC piece you can put on an axle. (URL) It's definitely thinner than 4265c. (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Any FPS or RTS AFOL modders out there?

(...) I started a Half-Life 2 mod two years ago called Block Party. Search the lugnet.gaming newsgroup for its older name, LEGOLAND, and you'll find the other posts about it. (URL) Look for a (very) limited release in a few weeks. -Jordan Bradford (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

(...) Thanks for your kind words! Regarding the coins - I wedged them between rows of rails two plates apart: <img(URL) + <img(URL) + <img(URL) + <img(URL) (And they are trapped in the slots by the far wall and by the ornamental lights...)   Any FPS or RTS AFOL modders out there?

I like acronyms...anyways... I'm working on BrickSpace, and now BrickFire. Also trying to learn C so I can write my own FPS and RTS, but that's a bit longer term. Right now, I'm wondering if among our fine ranks there are any of you who are modders, (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: First MOC or vignette to use new gold bricks...... I think?

(...) Cute! Several of the Build the Trust entries used gold bricks, though those bricks were not obtained from the tubs. This might be the first VIG to use them, however. (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Bondage Vignettes

(...) Brilliant. The level of detail is fantastic. I hope you're planning to do the rest of the series as well -- there's so much good stuff to work with in the Bond films of the 70s. Very much looking foward to your treatment of The Spy Who Loved (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
