Re: Brick versions over the years

(...) I even have quite a few transitional ABS bricks with the old font, or at least a different type of stud decoration. (...) These are the years I was ignorantly calling "vintage". Sorry if I gave you the impression that I was talking about (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Brick versions over the years

(...) Thanks, Gary! I had the feeling someone else out there would be interested in this. Good to know I am not the only person to take an interest in vintage brick variations. :) (...) Has anyone tried to contact TLC in this matter? They ought to (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Brickfest Pneumatic Master and new Pneumatic Gate Circuits

(...) Yes, I can see how the 2-cylinder design is more cost-effective, particularly since a Backhoe has 10 cylinders and only 7 switches. That allows more cylinders to be used for AND and OR gates, saving the switches for XOR gates. I've done some (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Set comparision 330 vs 217

At first I thought these two sets were pretty much identical, much like other sets with a European number and a US number. Well I did an inventory of both for Peeron (scans are also now in PICSL) Now I see how different they are. 1. 217 had 6 (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Photos Updated

(...) Well... does thinking of a cool idea that ultimately does not pan out count?? As well as building and failing to get anything promising count? I can't even fall back on "Well it worked at home!!" I probably will attend, with or without a bot, (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  BBB Train Hand Car

LDraw animation: Camera.dat and Look_at.dat  [DAT]

One more thing: I will use CAMERA.dat and LOOK_AT.dat in each Frame file in my planned LDA (hopefully LDA2005...). I find them very handy, anyone can use them and move them around in MLCad or whatever LDraw editor. This is how I made them, but (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Brickfest Pneumatic Master and new Pneumatic Gate Circuits

(...) Hi Larry, It was great to see you again at BrickFest. I appreciate your interest in my pneumatics creations. I've already had the pleasure of co-authoring with Dr. Soh, and would enjoy it again if it were to take place. I've tested the waters (...)   Re: The NMRA Trestle Bridge

(...) I like the way you've used 1x1 round plates to connect to the slip plates on the stanchions. They grip the back to back studs better than other plates, whilst giving a suitable clearance from the stanchions themselves. How long did it take to (...)   Re: How do I get these new applications working?

(...) And package manager/instructions writer/web page updater... I'll get you programming soon enough. :^) (...) Another thing to try is open up a terminal window and run it on the command line.   Re: How do I get these new applications working?
