Hiya I was in WHSmiths in Winchester yesterday and they had two Droid Developer Kit display boxes on the shelves where the computer games are - the boxes were empty and had no price on display, so I asked an assistant who said the set would be (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Yes. My IR-tower works on the USB --> serial port of an Entrega 2U1S1P multiport USB adapter. The serial port configured itself as (COM3)USB, and the RIS software correctly autodetects COM3 (a pleasant surprise). Some other serial devices also (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
