I think this diagram should explain the differences: (URL) is the N-input differential output AND gate, developed from your sketch. I've used 2 switches for A, to gate the supply so that it doesn't leak. This gives 2+4++4 switches for an N-input (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Matt, I could not agree with you more on this point. I have the past three Playmobil catalogs and they are a fantastic source of inspiration. Playmobil puts out a product line that really resembles LEGO of the late 80's & 90's. Strong themes and (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

It appears from this discussion that methods already exist, its just that they are not particularly easy to use or accessible. Whatever solution we choose, we need to think about usability.
