Hi Torben,

To mirror you need to edit the rotation matrix by hand. It is easiest to do if
you have only rotated in 90 degree angles in which case you just put a negative
sign in front of one of the entries and that mirrors along that axis.

In his case it sounds more like a 180 degree flip.

It's not a very good feature to use though and is best avoided as it can cause
proclems when you add new pieces and rotate.

Like I suggested, adding the file at the top and moving it down cleans the
orientation.
Actually I think it can be a really nice feature when you wish to recreate a
complex wing, so you don't have to make both a left and right version.
it's good when you wish to avoid building a left wing for a craft.

Thanks guys - I've more or less understood it now, but I'll dig about a bit more too. Can't believe I chose 8862 to put together as my first model. Angled components, pneumatic tubes and pumps as well as the two digger buckets, which as far as I can (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
