When will the Vikings raid the US?

I've been away on vacation for a couple weeks and a little out of the loop. Does anyone know if/when the Viking line will be available in the US? I searched for info on Lugnet but didn't find much. The Brickfest 2005 keynote speech mentions the line (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: I am not a nazi.

Hey Richie, I'm still a bit confused on one question: are you, or are you not, a Nazi? ;) More seriously, I did think the reception you got was over-harsh. This area of humor is always a very tricky thing--Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.people, FTX)

  Re: What a fest!!!!

(snip) (...) I can echo the feeling over on the Train layout. I was talking to a family about my red train station, when the mom made a gesture and accidentially knocked the stairway roof off. (no big deal, since it just sits on top of the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: pneumatic cat 343

One question; where's the head? LOL! It looks very good. I like the idea of using pneumatics to power the legs. (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Liebherr LG 1750

Greetings all- Having just gotten another of the 8421 cranes (total is 2) I decided on a whim to build the Liebherr LG 1750 (it is possible to build the chassis using these two sets). I set to work yesterday on the chassis, in the afternoon, and (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Brick versions over the years

Has anyone made a summary of when the type of bricks changed over the years? I recently got hold of a large unsorted but very nice auction lot from the late 70s to early 80's, around the time when the mould design changed quite rapidly and often (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.parts)

Re: The Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest

(...) That's a nice video. It shows all the modules that we had in the loop (at that time). How big is the hi-res version? (...) I'll see if I can get the MLCad drawings posted early next week. Thanks for taking part Steve (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Whose angel sculpture was that?

Re: The Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest

Okay, here's a low-res video of the GBC. It doesn't show my module for very long; the camera was still setting itself up to record and I thought I had stood there long enough, but I hadn't. Anyway, it runs for 9:39, has a couple spots where I had to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  selling out Todd Lehman's closet

Hey everyone. Todd recently moved from a huge apartment to a tiny one, and as part of that, he's had to part with some of his "non-core" collection. (Which is still a ton of really good stuff.)   More for the Hobby Show...

Beyond what we want from TLC Canada, i have an idea! (the masses recoil in surprise...) I know it's a Steve H idea, but it's a good one nonetheless... I heard great things about the GBC at BF'05. I know I have a few modules, and I think it'd be (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
