I'm in charge of the Brick Bazaar at NWBrickCon again this year, and it is comming up fast! This year NWBrickCon will be held October 7th-9th at the Seattle Center. I've seen the white "Plastruct" tubing at model railway shows and in hobby shops, but it costs 35p for about 12", which is too short and too expensive (considering my 5.5p/piece average Lego price, including railway stuff), even when bought in (...) (...) Actually, hacking the rails to electrically insulate the track only requires sandwiching a tiny slip of paper in between the two sections you want isolated from each other. In the past all my mosaics are unglued with a glued frame around to keep all the bricks in place. I was going to do the same with this and the (...) It appears to be only a few studs deep (maybe 4 studs at most), but the various shades of grey give the model much more depth and makes it really look like (...)
