Micro continues to impress, plus thanks, Janey!

Watch the galleries for pics of the outstanding micro creations that appeared at this year's BrickFest. Once again, the creations were incredible!   BrickFest coverage in Seattle and Dallas

A story about BrickFest made it to the second page of the Seattle Times featuring a picture of the Taj Mahal (8/16/05). Also, a brief story ran on the news in Dallas according to my family, there. Ashley Glennon (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: Vance Quantum line at LEGO Factory?

(...) That's a good question. The answer is...I don't know. I haven't really thought about it. I for sure want to expand more on the Quantum sub-theme with more characters and vehicles. I don't know how the whole lego factory thing works and how you (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: All plastic track

(...) Actually, that's a very good point. I was using L Gauge to refer to anything that uses the track gauge (distance between rails, obviously) currently used for both the Play and Hobby trains. But I don't pretend to think that I should be (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Two Usb towers

Just as a point of reference -- My latest creation has 7 motors, requiring 3 RCX's. All the high-level logic is written in Python and runs on my laptop. I communicate with the bricks through a single usb tower, using simple file I/O. The open call (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: All plastic track

In lugnet.trains, Jake McKee wrote: snip snip (...) Just to clarify Jake, will you be referring to both (Play and Hobby) as L gauge? That would make sense to me as they are all the same gauge. But it might confuse "real" train modellers - when we (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
