Watch the galleries for pics of the outstanding micro creations that appeared at this year's BrickFest.  Once again, the creations were incredible!   There was even a tiny bit of spillover this year as the National Trust competition included a number of micro-creations as well.

This year's showroom included what appears to be an emerging trend of showing
full dioramas and cityscapes complete with animation.

Castles were in full swing like the past, as were cathedrals, farmyards and
miniature spaceships.  A micro-moonbase was present, as were some excellent
modern city scenes.

Kudos to our own Janey Cook for coordinating the room and for keeping
micro-scale in the spotlight.

Ashley

(...) Thanks Ashley, but the real credit goes to all the amazing builders that are adopting and adapting Micro to levels that are ever expanding and increasing in detail and design. I was blown away with the quality of the work presented this year. (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)
