Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Hai everybody, You can count me in on that letter: Jeroen Ottens, senior designer segment 7-16+ (makes a better impression than my set-count (<200) ;) And being european. Why don't we send this letter to Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen? Or even better, since (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

Actually, the day I ordered, it came out to $85 each. Unfortunately, shipping on 2 of them and a few small Paradisa sets was near $70! Still, at $115 brand new including shipping, it beats getting them at auction. Since I already have 2, 1 for each (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

Hands down, I'd get the 8880. Simply because before too long, you will ONLY be able to get them at auction, and prices will skyrocket even more than they occasionally do. You can buy the 8448 for a least the next year. Get an 8880 from DYA now, and (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

A Few Dacta sets for sale

OK, one bidder backed out on my Dacta auction (DON'T take bids from James Steele!), so I have "his" sets available. I am going to sell them for what they were bid at, which were actually the minimum bids anyways. These are brand new sets, only out (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) So far only the Australian and New Zealand LEGO operations seem to have offered bulk sales. lol Luckily he's only 9 so I can still "take him". Good thing they usually hit their dark ages before they get *too* big;-) When he comes out of his dark ages, however, I guess we'll have to play poker for them. Lessee... 5 brick ante, minimum 5 (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

This discussion of the 8880 and 8448 Super Cars has been great. I don't own either yet, and find it difficult to decide between buying the older 8880 at auction or the 8448 new. For those familiar with both, if you had choose between one or the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
