Re: Set 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer re-release comments

(...) That's a good idea - I'll keep that in mind should I ever get fired from my job and have to transport it back out of my cubicle. However, I don't have any plans for that, so as far as I'm concerned it can sit and rot right where it's sitting (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Drake MkIV - final refinement and backstory

(...) There was something that seemed a little off about the upper body in the previous version, and your latest mods fixed it. Now it looks a lot like a Neumann mech (which is a good thing). Maybe I'll try out some worm gears in my next mech. (21 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: How do you change the floor and sky in POV for grass and clouds?

I haven't tried the sky sphere yet, but I'm still having a problem with the grass texture. I did as you said and put "4" in for the "floor_height". I even tried "4 Hollow", since that was the figure original there. What happens is that I get an (...) (21 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: "Bluebell" Assault Gunboat

(...) I love that thick wedge shape, that's so hard to do with Lego. I like the engines, but I agree with your MOCPages comment, they would look better in recessed housings. Very creative, as usual for you Kenn. Beautiful work. (21 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Bluebell" Assault Gunboat

Hey Kenn, Inspired use of the Vorzakh lids! I'm green with jealousy and speechless with amazement. Darn geniuses! I love the blocky, stocky, thick, wedginess of it. Kinda reminds me a bit of the U.S.S. Defiant. A tough, no-nonsense bulldog-type (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Painting one of my Xlarge base plates

How do you change the floor and sky in POV for grass and clouds?

I've been doing some browsing on the internet and I found some great "macros" that add grass for the ground (or other types of textures) and also blue sky with clouds for the sky. I've been experimenting with this in POV, but haven't had much (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)
