  License Lifespan?

This was probably discussed previously, but I couldn't readily find it: when does the LEGO/Star Wars license deal expire? And might we hope for LEGO original Space themes soon thereafter? Thanks for your input. Dave! (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Lego in the news AGAIN

(URL) to this article Lego has seen a 52% jump in traffic just from Starwars. Now I don't think that Starwars is the only thing driving the increased traffic, but it does make sense. Larry (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.starwars)

(21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

Re: brickOS-0.9 and 'error deleting program' message

(...) IR tower inference probably is not the case since I have previously downloaded the whole brickOS system with the firmdl3 program. Only the dll does not work. Just the same, the original Lego Mindstorms sotware works and gets downloaded in the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Motors

Hi all, Is it a bad idea to run motors at different power levels as in OUT_LOW, OUT_HALF, and OUT_FULL. What I mean is, will running a motor at low power wear it out significantly faster than running it at full power? I have built a plotter with the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics)

New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

I am happy to announce that the Brickshelf Instuction Library will be coming back online soon. Kevin Loch has asked us, and we agreed, to host it at Peeron.com. Since we have to write a new interface for the library, it is not ready yet to go live, (...)   Re: LPub missing pages in the layout

(...) It was missing trailing STEPs that was the problem. I'll see if I can recreate it tonight. (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: My FotD

(...) Actually, I didn't recognize the part until reading your reply, but I do have two of the 6154 in red. Since I also have about half a dozen of those trans-light-blue roller-door elements (4219), I'm guessing that this represents part of the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Anyone going to Orlando PaB soon?

(...) I was there a couple weeks ago: some 1x2 trans blue were there. At Orlando at least, bins occassionally get mixed by color, so the 1x2 trans blues were in with the 2x2 trans blues (about a 50/50 mix, when I was there). Likewise there was a bin (...)   Re: LPub missing pages in the layout

(...) Dean, I tried to recreate this, by adding trailing steps to all my models/submodels in pedmatic, and it didn't cause any problems. If you can recreate this it would be a great help to me. Kevin (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Anyone going to Orlando PaB soon?

(...) Just went to LIC in Orlando beginning of May & to be honest, I think there was only one 1x2 brick that was a trans-color... either trans-purple or trans-pink or trans-dark-green... can't remember. There were a few 2x2 trans bricks in different (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: LPub problems

--SNIP-- Thanks for all that. I noticed something else but need to test it more (and probably look through .cad in depth again) but when I use 0 LPUB PAGE PLI NO at the start of my file, no layout images get generated at all. I may be misusing it or (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)
