  HoverCheap

The (URL) HoverCheap> is being marketed to the high school crowd as inexpensive and mostly-reliable transportation between home, school, and the soda joint. (3 URLs) It's also almost totally studless. And ugly- but cheap! (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: Some aquazone cheer.

Hi. Note that one of the themes we chose to display in our (URL) KCCUSA> showcases was Aquazone/Sea Monkeys... that's right, out of a total of just 4 themes available, we chose this theme as one. (Castle, town and space being the other three) Read (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Trans-Siberian Railway

--SNIP-- (...) --SNIP-- I do prefer the Pendolino to the Voyager (and they are much more comfortable to travel in) but mostly it was the challenge of working out how to do the front in a six-wide train. I have to say that it's quite a challenge to (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Anyone going to Orlando PaB soon?

Sorry, There I went again typing slower then my head could put the stuff out. Any what I meant to say is that: The brick selection at the parks (LLCA is all I know of) is set from the Model Builders. If they have left over parts then those parts go (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: All Kinds of Structures (A.K.o.S.)

<SNIP> Hi Akos, I really like this concept (although I have my suspicions that you just wanted to make an acronym out of your name ;-) ). I may borrow you idea for the structure for use in my home layout. Great idea! Tim (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Trans-Siberian Railway

(...) I'd missed the Pendolino, thats a nice model of a difficult (in Lego) prototype, and I agrre with James on the bit below the windscreen. To me its one of the non-obvious, but actually quite simple ideas that is very effective. One thing I find (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Thanks! The credit for that actually half belongs to my wife who told me that an original curvier design actually looked less curvy and helped me refine it. The funny thing about that model is that the brick version looks narrower than the CAD (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Very cool, Jaco! (...) I'm not quite sure why Borland's graphics routine does this. I use the exact same points to draw the triangles and the lines. (...) Yes, this is a bug, and it is in the area that I has just been heavily rewritten. If you (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Kevin (and others interested), Take a look at this: (URL) you can imagine by now, I am quite happy about this result :-) Though I have two points I like to do better: 1. There is a "halo" effect arount one of the pointers of the callout in step 8 2. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) That is such a cute train. I saw your model while flicking through brickshelf the other day and thought at first you had made a sort of old-fashioned toy train until I saw the name and realised that it must have existed. (...) Thanks! (...) Lowes doesn't seem to carry it, but Home Depot does. Depending on where in the state you are, it runs from $4 to $5 a can.
