(...) EXPIRED cupons. Counting the 1x1 dots as seperate items, he's at 16-17 items - and I had a few more initally, but they completely blocked the view of the cashier.   Re: Introducing the LEGO Fan Committee and BrickPortal

(...) Thanks, this was very helpful. As a relative newbie around here, I wasn't at all clear on what LEGOfan.org was all about. On a related note, I was also unsuccessful at finding an "About LEGOfan.org" link anywhere on the site. I would suggest (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Introducing the LEGO Fan Committee and BrickPortal

There have been a number of posts lately about different organizations, and how these entities are operated. LEGO Fan has been brought up quite a bit as well, and since we recently re-launched the site, we thought it was worth reiterating our goals (...) Um.. It appears Joe only has about 12-14 items.. Not something to lose one's head over, no? Can't you cut a 'vig some slack? ;) Darrell ps But wait! He has cupons too! (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: White noise around model with colored background

(...) Unfortunately, that doesn't help. It still blends, which means that if (for instance) your edge is red, and you have a pixel that's 50% covered via antialiasing, then that pixel comes out dark red (50% red + 50% black = dark red) with 50% (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What about a LEGO TECHNIC tutorial

(...) Not just a mouse, but Edit / Rotate / Keyboard Entry allows you to enter a full rotation matrix (among other things). Of course you need to know what matrix values to enter to get your desired result, but it's there in the GUI. (...) Yes, that (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: White noise around model with colored background

(...) Ah ha! That explains why I said to set the background color to black. That way the exterior lines alpha blend with zeros. I suspect setting -b0 in the ldglite options window of lpub will give better results. Maybe lpub should always do this if (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: White noise around model with colored background

(...) That won't help. The problem is that OpenGL antialiasing antialises the color channel based on the background color the original rendering happens over. So even if you bump the alpha on all those pixels up to 1.0 (fully opaque), you'll still (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Joe Vig Contest Entry - Trouble in the Ten Items Or Less Lane

One word that stuck in my mind from the description of Joe Vig is that he is "Oblivious". All to often, I think, we have to deal with "Oblivious" folks. Case in point: You're at the supermarket, just needing to pick up one small item on the way home (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX) !
