  BricxCC release news

I continue to work on getting BricxCC ready for a new official release. My sincere apologies for not having one out at the beginning of the year as I had originally planned. Life keeps getting in the way. In any case, I have a new update to BricxCC (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

(...) I agree that black and white have no place in speckling. If one is to only speckle regular LEGO track, then using gray and light gray is a good solution IMO. I wanted to alter the tie frequency of the LEGO track, and so that is why I chose to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Another Sandcrawler

Hi Matt, Great MOC. My favorite little detail is the use of the brick separator. :) Very inventive. You're right--even though it was not built to scale, it looks great with figs and droids outside. Bruce (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Summer LEGO Building Camp Help

Hi Brian, Just have to say what a neat program this is. I like the idea of building by sight and then building "remotely". I teach adults (or at least young adults) and it's often difficult to get them to accept failure as part of the learning (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.edu)

  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

(...) John, I've been playing with as well, but I use a slightly differnt meathode for the curves. I'll have to check out what you've done when I get home, thanks for posting. I agree about the speckling, although I'm using gray and very light grey (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Buffer Exchange artifact in LPub

(...) P.S. However, if you change anything in MLCad after this to the arrow, the triangles and quadrangles the arrow is made of are unghosted again :-( (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Using stickers on LDraw models

(...) Yes, this is clearly a bug. I've never used stickers, gotta try it. (...) I don't think the problem can be solved automatically. Well, avoiding the sticker disappearing can. But simply not applying seams or only applying seams in any dimension (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

"Kevin L. Clague" <kevin_clague@yahoo.com> schreef in bericht news:IHo9q8.21Ir@lugnet.com... (...) Let's hope this will be soon? What other fixes / changes / additions are there to come to MLCad? (...) Right. So, what I did was change this bit: (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Another Sandcrawler

Ok, first off I want to say that I started this moc MONTHS ago - long, long before I ever knew of the new Lego set coming out soon. This was displayed at HoB along side the my Falcon, as well as other, smaller MOCs and displays. First off, some (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX) !!

Bruce, Let's keep the communication up, because collaboration and synergy is always better than working alone. Bruce (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: BT in robotics

Bruce, 1. TMobile does have a flat rate for data at $19 /mo 2. Is there really interest anymore in RS-232 Bluetooth modules? I used to have a conact at BlueUnplugged.com and he was almost willing to give them away, because they weren't selling. 3. (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: The Millenium Falcon

Thanks for all the comments everyone! This is a little late - but I've been busy! Yesterday (sunday) I FINALLY graduated from college. 4 years at Northern Illinois U and transfered to Columbia College Chicago for another 3 years, and it's finally (...)   Re: 2 MOCs: Dirt Collector and Switchbot

(...) The scoop is a bit goofy, but it sets the spirit of the model well. We're all here to have fun, right? Beyond that, the ship design is good. While the nozzles are nothing to write home about, the engine mounting and other detailing is (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.underground, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Ion Cannon Corvette: IL-77 Hawkeye

(...) Great color scheme. You've balanced out the base and highlight colors nicely. I was surprised at the scale- until I counted the studs, I didn't realize quite how large it was. And the interior looks pretty roomy. Nice! As others have pointed (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PreNMRA shindig again

  Re: The pseudo-intellectual ramblings of a cool-guy wanna-be.

(...) I think it's commonly accepted that good photography requires skill (composition, framing, choice of speed and exposure) and that the result can be art. Just looking out the window at nature isn't. However I'd say that the trestle you go (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)
