Il flex è un sistema di trasmissione costituito da dei tubi in plastica (ovviamente) dentro i quali scorre un altro filo di plastica, per capirco come i freni delle biciclette. Just got 10170 and I have to say what a fantastic set. While the model itself is very good, the parts selection is absolutely fantastic. A wonderful collection of tiles and plates in various sizes and shapes, plus some train wheels, yellow panels (...) (21 years ago, 26-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

Thanks Thomas for your idea. The matter is that I was thinking of using angle sensors in order to calculate the number of the turns that each wheel has driven (I am talking for a robot with 2 wheels).
