As for the red head, well there’s several reasons why I made it that way. I was
partly inspired by the Rick
Dom from Gundam, which has a red highlight on the head. I also want to colour
different parts of my mecha. For example, on the
Crab, the head was red as well, on the
MBP it
was white, and so forth. As for the design, it was the only one I felt okay
about. Creating interesting head design, for me at least, is one of the most
difficult parts of mecha building.
In hindsight though, I think it would have been better if I emulated the
Brute’s head design, which was low and wide, and would have fit the overall
look of this mecha better.
