(...) Thanks for the news and pics, Mike. These look nice & beefy. Looking forward to the yellow ladders and 1x2x2 yellow thin walls. Glad to see that TLC is still able to reach out to train fans with the current state of business. And, glad they (...) (21 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I wouldn't be buying this set anyway, but I'm really getting tired of TLC's excuses to AFOLs. "New molds cost too much" was the old refrain, but now it's "an inability to produce new colors of those parts in our current financial state". Where (...) (...) Apparently Americans don't like hatch backs, so I wouldn't expect a hatch to appear in North America any time soon. I assume that's why the SiR was being build in the UK. Iain you should get a Ridgeline, that's more your style. :-) Derek (21 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

That is awesome. Could you put a vid of it in action. I love the style - it is functional, but equally stylish - the way you have arranged the cabling makes it look really something. (...) Hey! :) I don't think they sold a lot of those Civic SiR's. They were built in the UK and were very expensive ($30K, IIRC). Plus, the eighth generation Civic is due next year. Calum (21 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I'm pretty disappointed with those containers. I'd have expected them to use the recessed doors they've used in the past. I do like that the cars are built up, though, rather than single pieces. Jeff (21 years ago, 2-May-05, to lugnet.trains)
