(...) How are you running NQC? If you are using MacNQC ((URL) under the 'RCX' menu there is "download firmware". A valid firmware file (firm0327.lgo) needs to be in the firmware folder. You also need to make sure the target is "RCX 2" (you can set (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

i got the firmware (firm0328.lgo) and tried to download it to my RCX 1.0, but no luck so far /Users/roc % nqc -Susb -firmfast /Users/roc/LEGO/firm0328.lgo Downloading firmware:......... ......... ......... ....... No reply from RCX tried it several (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Nothing is wrong with 10, it was my assumption that was wrong. There are more than one version of the LEGO firmware, and it appears you have an older version that does not allow variable frequencies (the frequency must be a constant). Try (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)
