  Teknomeka Instructions

(URL) This winter I took on the gigantic project of building a new mecha and creating complete assembly instructions for it. I've had many requests for instructions over the years, but never considered making them to be technically practical for (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

Re: Ackerman steering geometry : How do you make it ?

If I'm not mistaken, didn't the Lego Technic sports racer from 1995, set 8440 also have a type of Ackerman steering? (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: "The LEGO Group" or "The LEGO Company"?

(...) Funny thing is, I found the company profile brochure (a PDF at "(URL) and it offers no guidance on what the company itself should be called. It uses the term "the LEGO Company" often, but then the bottom of each page says the document itself (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: CEO-Letter // The answer

(...) No, a bigger mistake would be to attempt to fix it, and go out of business. Do you *really* feel you would be better off in that case? Start buying Mega-Bloks to continue your hobby, would you? Be realistic. Whether you accept it or not, (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: "The LEGO Group" or "The LEGO Company"?

(...) There have been discussions here before about that very topic. A quick search turned up this ((URL)) for example. Also try here ((URL)) for some words straight from the company's mouth. To my knowledge TLC is correct. A further comment about (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Blue Baseplate 627

Dear LEGO, I recently noticed that the Blue Baseplate #627 has been re-released in Europe. Are there any plans to release it in North America? Thanks Jeramy (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Whoa! What set is that piece in?!

(...) The closest match from that set is the "Car Mudguard 2 x 4 x 2/3 with Front Studs". Peeron has no picture but (URL) has a picture of the part and it looks like it might be usefull (especially in the white as seen in the police car) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: join 2 Female "lego bricks"

(...) Iain, Yep, those "liftarms" are the second thing i tried. they work as well. you have to use the holes next to the "ends" but it does work as well. I just wanted to fix the slop. Chris (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
