Re: rtlToronto19: Balance of Power and other upcoming events

(...) Here's the thing on the extended loop--we're not bringing it to NMRA. When Frank called last week, I mentioned that we needed a 10x10 area, for that's the layout we're bringing to NMRA. If we want to get a larger layout together, the (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Château de Vignette

Am I the only one who sees the amazing potential this idea has? Like builders with limited parts will be able to take part in moonbase-type setups...... I just love this concept :-). I think this model just screams 'Vignettes are here to stay'. I (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  AFOL clips

Hey guys, I'm trying to put together a collection of video clips about AFOLs. As you know, every year, rtlToronto puts out a yearly "Demo Reel" of our highlights. What I'm trying to do is to put together a "Global Demo Reel" for Jake. Do you have (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.org, lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Ben, I've done some further research - I just placed some scans of my 1968 Samsonite catalog online here: (URL) don't think that 100 or 103 were available in the USA so I'm still guessing 107 was the motorized set. Also interesting that 115 (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) Ah, I see. I did not understand that you thought the very idea of royalties (aside from their complexity) was an issue. However, on this I will also have to disagree. Without royalties, or some other tangible reward, I do not think the concept (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO®Palooza...or I got by with a little help from my friends

(...) Wow, you did good. Not just an outstanding spread, but a great example of AFOLs helping AFOLs. I'm giving you a new tagline... Joe Meno, making big things happen. Personal request: I'd like some close up shots of your moonbase modules. (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.events, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: TrueType font converter?

(...) more like a whitepaper-with-actual-code rather than source-code-with-comments. Triangle seems to be a 2D utility, I don't remember it handling 3D curved surfaces. But that shouldn't be a problem in this case. Steve (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: If I were a minifig......

That's nice! Time to dump those big front L & R speakers for some small ones and a sub-woofer, though. :-) I especially like the first pic in the folder, the way the screen reflects the background, just like a true big-screen TV.
