  A few rendered MOCs

Here are a few MOCs that I've whipped up since discovering LDraw. (6 URLs) Brickshelf> Hope you enjoy, Chris. (21 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

they can be found here (URL) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

  Re: BrickFest 2005

(...) oooooh hopefully if ya'll have it this summer, I can make it while I'm working in the DC metro area (21 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

(...) When I saw this on brickshelf I thought, "almost nightmarish perfection, except they head doesn't quite seem to have the right evil aura". It needs a reworking in the future to do the rest of the model justice, or would that be injustice. (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) I wasn't trying to speak as an expert on RF radiation. It was more like the average cell phone emits ~.3 Watts which isn't nearly enough affect anything except in very close proximity. I think the hospital ban stems from that fact that the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  GPLR - PORTLAND GATS

Hi All, Here are some pix of our show last weekend at GATS. Enjoy... www.GPLR.org, click on "Gallery" in the bar along the top. SteveB PS we are still working out our club colors, logo, and general look and feel... this web site UI is just a generic (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains) !

Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

WOW! This thing is SO cool! First time that I saw it on BS I was floored. I immediately noticed the Giger influence. It's amazing how close you are getting to recreating his style, and how nicely you are integrating some of your own ideas into it. (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pics from ToyFair 2005

Snip (...) Toby does - sort of, after all he is double ended. Mind you you shouldn't be able to see the cylinders, or the wheels! Toby is the worst model by far in my opinion, its hard to do much with what is essentially box but he would have been (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.year.2005, FTX)

  Re: 7-wide Elevated Train Cars

(...) I have to agree with you. Its strange feature of Lego that often you mentally blank the seams but sometimes the placing actually gives the model more detail. Tim (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: 7-wide Elevated Train Cars

Spencer, Very nice! The corrugated bricks are so much nicer looking when stacked with aligned seems! I really dislike the Santa Fe with the crossed seams. I was wondering if the 1/4 round roof detail was purposely done in 1 stud wide elements? I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

(...) (URL) Best. Bionicle. Ever. [1] I still can't quite figure out some of it-- just above the little row of hard-plastic tires in this picture (and all throughout the MOC): (URL) It looks like there's some sort of cord, laced with protruding (...)   Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) Huh, That's nothing, I don't even own a Cell Phone. So there. Derek (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

As some of you know I've been building mostly Bionicle stuff the last couple years. I know it's the lil' red haired stepchild of the Lego community but whatever; I'm sure you can get over it. Anyhoo BZPower (a Bionicle duh fan based website) is (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!

Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) Please, since you're an expert on cellphone wattages, tell me what is the radiated power required for "significant interference" for medical equipement. I don't know myself, I've only taken a device through PTCRB/CTIA and FCC Part 15 with SAR (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

Nice, Kyle. This is a huge improvement over an already excellent mech. I love the missle racks and the feet are just perfect. It looks like something you would actually see out on the battlefield, not some frilly anime mecha. Very clean, nothing (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Step, inizia a tremare...

(21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) That's bunk. Cellphone don't produce anywhere near the wattage necessary to cause any significant interference. I'd throw this one on the same pile as the "cellphones cause gas staion explosions" myth. -Orion (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Thats simple. All you have to do is be too close to the super-dimensional fortress Macross when it performs a hyperspace fold jump thingy. Your previously seaborne carrier will now be floating in space :-) Steve (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
