Jiggling steve's balls with a vibrator

(no this is NOT an 8880 attempt) Steve, and the rest of you ball players. Steve was bemoaning how he was not smart enough to figure out a way to unjam stuck balls.   library floor

FWIW, we ~COULD~ remove the bits of metal off the 1x8's and build the "wall" and put it on the floor. we would have to figure our "colouring the corners" BUT, then the fun of watching the playfield at table hight is gone. Dave, RTL, et al, I am (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: My first fully functioning GBC...

(...) I had that concept once--a friend works in the greenhouse shading system business, and can get yards of very high quality shading that can easily double as a arena floor, with a proper border. The issues are-- need to be on a relatively smooth (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Longitudinal-latitudinal coordinates calulator?

(...) The above is simple but if you want L3P global coodinates from X,Y,Z coordinates then that's a little more complicated. The zero radius of the L3P global coordinates is determined by the bounding boxes of the parts in the model and the center (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: My first fully functioning GBC...

(...) Right, that's about what we have, 4 8 foot long 1x8's, and two 4x8's. We can disassemble it etc, so it's not fixed. But as to why ply versus other materials, it's what we started with and what was easily available at the time. Calum (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: My first fully functioning GBC...

(...) Why do you use a fixed field? For playing with kids, I used 4 6' long 1x4's with swing hasps (you know, the latches that close with a pin or padlock) at the ends to form an enclosure by pinning the four ends together in a square. Then use (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
