Rick- You are referring to one of Brian Williams' masterpieces: (URL) the risk of speaking for Brian, I can say simply that what he has done is wire the 9 volt motor to power the older 12 volt motor. I don't know *how* exactly, but this is what he (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

You know, this might be worthwhile for all of us to pursue. If a hundred people joined the NMRA as Lego Train modellers, that could really turn some heads. Might make some of the old-school modellers take another think. I personally think that Lego (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

I built this model last year and decided to post it. I put orthodontic rubber bands between the 1x1 plates with light holders to give the pivoting chassis some resistance. The result was a simple suspension system that works great for uneven (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Nice model! It's a great design, it's not overly large, just the right size. The color sceme isn't bad but, I think it would look better in the explorian color sceme. Hi, I was just wondering where i could find the small pumps that are used to make the compressors. I would like to find it as a seperate piece so that i do not have to buy a whole box.
