Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

(...) Dave, you already have one, from what I hear... :-) (...) Actually I'm not at *all* unhappy with that nickname, I'll wear it proudly. After all, I *am* "goodhearted", I try to always expect the best from companies and from people. How sad it (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: l3p as open source (was: Re: Anatomy of a POV file (e.g. L3P suggestions))

(...) I knew I'd forgotten something in here! That function sounds interesting and could help a bit, but I'm not sure it's possible to turn an .inc around, but I'll look into it when I get the time. Thanks -NB (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Pneumatic switching circuits

(...) This is something mr Clague did tackle on his page. In his Quad242 ( (URL) ), he did just what you're wanting to do. In fact, if you can decrypt this page: (URL) you'll understand the secret. I believe the key is having "and" gates, where two (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Arrays and proximity

(...) The Spybot has a limited number of global (32) variables. NQC lets you access these via an array syntax. MindScript and NQC also let you use pointers to variables which effectively is an array. The maximum size of an array is less than 32. The (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics, FTX)

Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

(...) Actually Larry is really unhappy about his "cool nickname". He's complaining to me via email. Sigh. You guys really are tough customers. But that's the way with complainers - they're sooo hard to satisfy ... :P (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Pneumatic switching circuits

Ok, I've look through mr Clagues site and I undertand the basics. But I have a problem in trying to design my pneumatic/switch circuit for this big nasty walker of mine: So fist a legend: _ = Extended ~ = retracted / = transition - retracting \ = (...)   Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

(...) Larry gets the cool 'Goodheart' nickname whilst I get 'I'll buy two'? I want a cool nickname! Dave "The Yellow Dart" K -that's gotta be at least +5 or +10 right there... (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

Just for the record: Primus did NOT click. You know what your problem is, guys? You don't recognize humor (or the truth, for that matter) even if it kicks you straight in the butt. :P Excellent writing, Mark! (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

(...) Translation is: "Do you know why Old Nick killed his grandma? Because she's at a loss for excuses" It's a saying in German, but I'm just kidding in this case :-) Leg Godt! René (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Merchant Ship

Hm, it seem's they're changing something. A déjà-vu again... Ahoy! I like that. The vessel makes a very maritime impression, well, rather flumitime (I know, this word doesn't exist), that's "belonging to a river", somehow. It looks like a river (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Final Official Statement - Maersk Second Run

(...) It also means we could as well debate in German about such issues. Larry "Goodheart" P. and David "I'll buy two!" K. will never run out of lame excuses. ;) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: RCX3 - Can extra hardware functionality be added?

(...) Google Translation: Do you know, why the devil killed his grandmother? Because you broke in no more excuses. I know something must have gotten lost in the translation, but I still find this funny even though I don't have a clue what it means. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: 1038 ERBIE the Robo-Car?

(...) I think this robot chassis is for use with Interface I (1455), which in the UK was used with BBC Micros. I'm not sure whether any other computers would connect to it. It had 6 motor ports for 4.5V motors or lights, and 2 sensor ports that (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)
