  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) Couple of Comments: Love the forward section, looks like it could detach and connect on to other vehicles. The detailing and curviture to the front gives it a smooth connection to the hanger portion. I don't think the mechs are too small. (...)   The Queensland Tilt Train - and it tilts!

Hey everyone, Just returned to my pile of Lego bricks after half a year on exchange at the University of Queensland in Brisbane... Australia is awesome, I reckon! Anyway, I came across this wonderful train with a name that says it all, the Tilt (...)   Animation - Earwig and the Flea

For your viewing pleasure: (URL) where near as humourous as some of the other animations but ofcourse, that's not its intention. Thanks for the comments regarding the original designs. (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.space) !!

  Re: No Comment

(...) Not just coincidence, it was pretty much inspired by all arguments going on at the moment, hence the "silver lining" comment. (...) People seem obsessed with the scale. I knew when I was building it that it was a pretty huge monitor, but I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Incorrect Links on SW Sidebar

I fully agree with Geoff! However, I do have a highspeed internet connection, but it still takes ages to load. And I do not have the site in the temporary cache, as I don't visit this site daily. So I rather stick with the fast loading sites. Take (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Parts editing made easy, anyone?

(...) I'm sorry if I was unclear. Earlier in the thread I put forward Bens wheels as an example and continued that example here. I realise they would not be eligible for inclusion in the official Ldraw library, and would not submit them. This thread (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: new models 2005 (crane)

Ok, so the LUGNET policy towards discussing leaked images has changed. Fine, there's one less thing to worry about. Fredrik (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Paul's Ferrari

I notice that you only use one single shock absorber for each wheel. Is that enough to carry the weight of the car? Fredrik (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Parts editing made easy, anyone?

(...) Maybe I'm missing the point here, but if this whole discussion is about Ben's excellent independently produced wheels, then whether or not they are modelled appropriately for inclusion in the official LDraw library is academic. The official (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: No Comment

(...) HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's a funny MOC! It couldn't have come at a more appropriate time than this either... the chatter levels of garbage are very high this time. Also, I think its good that the vignette is larger in scale to the fig... it adds a (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) (I'm going to try not to sound like a jilted lover here, bear with me) If you're not already a parts author, you have to ask for permission to submit a part to the Parts Tracker. I've been told translated-from-other-CAD (i.e. messy) parts (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

SNIPPY (Written 2 days ago) Disagree. Samarth Moray (16) (No idea how much he spends on Lego, but the amount is decreasing as the number of cool sets reduces.) I’ve avoided stating my views on this situation for a looong time now, but this is the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

SNIPPY (sorry bout the late reply, I missed this post when the uncivil war started, and then my net connection got lost, too) (...) Well, IMHO, whether we like it or not, thats the way it is. My logic is that a builder who's been around on planet (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.people.teens, FTX)

  Re: Paul's Ferrari

I am not sure exactly how many pieces are in this model. I know that there were about 2000 before I detailed the engine. Each valve cover consists of 36 pieces. I added about 150 pieces to the engine. While it may not be exactly 2500, the count is (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LEG007 – James Bond Models

I absolutely love it! I am such a Bond fan. I've been thinking about doing some Bond MOCs, and am a bit jealous that you beat me to it. I bought the rerelease of the Breezeway Cafe specifically to get the waiter torso, to make Bond in a tux. And, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Ultimate Lego Transport/Storage Box

Too bad they aren't taller, so you could put large baseplates vertically in them. Note - if you belong to Ebates, or search online, you will find $30off150 coupons, netting you 14 boxes for $123.58 plus tax. Free shipping at that point. That knocks (...)   Re: Sorting Bley and Chocolate Brown

What little I have I place in Ziplocs and label "new lt grey, new dk grey, new brown". Of course, I'll be selling most of it off. I tend to sort by part, then by color anyways, so it only adds at most another 3 Ziplocs to a drawer or larger Ziploc. (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)

  Post something 2 Castle!

Something... It's been about 2 (two) dayz since the color scandal took over, and still .castle is quiet on all fronts. Surely we've got somethin' interesting going-on up in here. The Vikings are on their way, a few of the KK2 sets are not so bad, (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.castle)
