  Lego Models in Ldraw

Hey I got an idea, scary aint it. I was wondering how hard it would be to convert the entire lego product line into ldraw. Making them for each set. Feedbac would be welcome on this idea. I think that this would be a intresting project and could be (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: WTB Train Parts

(...) It is not that he offered more that offended me, but rather the tone. It seemed smug, but perhaps I read it with the wrong tone. It is hard to apply a tone to text accurately, but sometimes simple statements may look different to other people. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Big Layouts

Hey everyone, I'm back, had some small and big computer troubles and some school stuff so that's why I havn't been here in a long time. But thats not the reason for the post, honest. I was wondering how many people do real big layouts, and how they (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LNP Repost

I am coming into the middle of this (or at the end considering the posting dates), and am hoping I don't sound like a fool putting out these ideas (since I don't yet know how legOS works). Is the RCX# used as a sort of ethernet MAC address? If you (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Mechanical question

(...) Sure. Based on other comments I've received I'm guessing my previous explaination was a little obtuse. (No pun intended... angles, get it.) Ok, let's see if I can explain this without any pretty pictures. It is getting to be time for bed so (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: WTB Train Parts

(...) Hrmmm.... having dealt with Larry in many ways I don't see what he did as a "jerk thing to do" - it's just an honest thing. Larry likes the same kind of parts you do, and it seems like, with some of them, he either likes them more or is (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: WTB Train Parts

Mike- I do not think Larry means to offend. What he has done is initiate a sort of reverse auction, thus his follow-up to .auction. I think by setting prices, you have automatically set yourself up to be outbid, especially on these items, where I (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Temperature Sensor

Jonathan Knudsen <lego-robotics@crynwr.com> wrote in message news:3.0.5.32.199907...net.com... (...) The RCX wants a thermister with 12.2kohms at 25C with a -3.7%/C Temp Coef. This isn't equal to anything I can find. I think it is a 10kohm at 25C (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  RE: TIMER 0 is flakey

(...) That's not all. Seems like I've left half of the words using the old calling convention..... I'll get 1.0.6 out and posted by tomorrow, along with the TCL gui and a small test suite.   Re: GMLTC at the NMRA National Convention

Paul, it was a pleasure having you. The ribbon is the first place ribbon for GATS in December of 1998. The LaCrosse trophy is a wooden train given for "Club's Choice" of LaCrosse 1999. I just finished installing the ASPs on the new web server. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)
