Hi All, I just finally realized to ask Jake how did something like the Santa Fe (engine and car set) and the BNSF ever get made as sets at LEGO? Humbly he told me. Over time (say the last 4 years) Jake has been "suggesting" ideas to the LEGO Direct (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !!

The other day I noticed a palette of tubs at a WalMart store. They looked like knockoffs of 3033/4400/etc tubs. The plastic was slightly different, but similar. The label said "RubberMaid RoughNeck 3-gal Container". Original retail was $2.88, but (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)

I'll get a pic up pretty soon, but there are two knobs you can just see, they have the flat 2x2 tiles on them, there is a worm gear contacting the exterior gearing of the table in vertially in the back of the hip. that is what controls the (...)
