Lately I've been very interested in #6762 Legoredo, wish they'd rerelease it as a Legend, so I decided to go to Lego.com and do a search for it, just in case they still had some. :) Anyways, among the search results was the front page of a Lego club (...) Just a couple of comments. First, that is a great idea for the toes! I like your style of having two or three toes fanned out claw-style, but I didn't like how it seemed to flatten the feet out, I always thought they'd look better with a little more (...) Those engines were built by me. I have been building Lego Steam engines for about 13 years now. Most are 100% Lego parts, but a few like the small yellow one has clear oscillating cyliders that I machined out of acrylic(plexiglas). The red engine (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

My next question is about how the chain/string is setup. In JC's design, the string isn't set up like a loop. I can see how this would work, but what is confusing me is how they would set up the chain as a non-loop object. Could you tell me how this (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Sobasically whatyou're saying is that the third and only the third is operated by the chain (or the string in JC's idea)? Would that make the third section sturdy? Because from what I've seen it doesn't look sturdy at all. Thanks. (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)
