  Re: My Second MOC

(...) Hey Felix, thanks for the encouragement. As I said above, it's because of what everyone else has achieved (and posted) that I've been able to build any of this. And, no. I don't feel any pressure ;) Hope all's well- Cyndi (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: My Second MOC

(...) I'm 'you' in drag, you're 'you' not-in-drag ;) (...) It was great to meet you too, I really admire your work and it was fun to meet you in person. Thanks for the encouragement!! Cyndi (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: steves balls

(...) And this is why we need folks like rtlToronto. I can not recall even *one* time, in weeks of discussion and probably close to 100 emails, that any of us *ever* hit upon the marginally tasteless implications of bunches of AFOLers trading balls.   Re: The Great Ball Contraption

In lugnet.robotics, Steve Baker <sjbaker1@airmail.net> wrote <snip> (...) That's a just a cool idea in general, to have a branching arrangement.   Re: rarest printed parts?

(...) S, It may not be super rare in Europe, but the 309/1309 Church is very rare in USA/Canada, where it was never sold. If you come across any more, please let me know!! :-) Also, thanks for showing the 2x10 beam from Bremen Germany. Promotional (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Grayscale Mosaics

(...) Maybe -first of all- we need a good definition of "dithering": Your left image shows no dithering at all. I see a similar conversion method as the one I used on the mosaic of (URL) my children>. I simply divide the total image in X fields of (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: steves balls

(...) See!!!! This is why Steve H is, in my mind, an honorary rtl'er! Forget the gerrymandering he always does withour rules and such, he's just such a cool frood who really can build robots (and sends me soccer balls in the mail to boot!) If I get (...)   Re: The Great Ball Contraption

(...) Having different coloured balls would also be cool because it would allow machines to do things like sorting them so that one colour does one thing and another colour does something different. Mixing soccer and basket balls would let people do (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego Pneumatics

(...) I would just buy a bunch of 8455 Backhoes: (URL) set gives you the best bang for your buck. Unfontunatly it's more than $70.00. -Orion (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Primer

  Re: The Great Ball Contraption

Best idea I have seen in a while. Will be quite a machine when done. You should try to paint or die a few balls a different color so spectators can follow a particular ball thruoghout the whole machine. Good luck guys. (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego Pneumatics

I am looking for large quantities of large pneumatic cylinders (up to 6); I have already tried Bricklink and Ebay and am rather wary of international shipping (due to costs and having to cange dollars into other currency). On Bricklink most stores (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Leog Pneumatics

(...) Thanks for the input but I have already tried Ebay and Bricklink; with very little positive results. About the $55.00, I meant to type $70.00 I don't know why I didn't catch that when I previewed the post. As for the set 8445, I did recheck (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Automation Project Proposal

I know everyone's gung ho on balls, but I'll bring this back to the table for a thought: A long time ago (over 3 years ago), I started a little project to see if I could build an automated assembly carousel / high speed assembly dial to build a (...)   Re: Primer
