Re: Lego Models of Fenway Park, Wally the Green Monster to be Auctioned at MLB.com

(...) Well, we just wrapped up our holiday party and ran back to the shop to put the finishing touches on the Fenway model a few hours ago. I gotta say this was a great but challenging and nerve-wracking model to work on. Sheesh, there's not a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.mediawatch, FTX) !

  Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

(...) Try braking. This is from memory so might be all wet... If you just turn power off, the motor coasts to a stop. But supposedly you can send the motor a speed 0 command, I think, and the motor stops right then, frozen in place. It takes more (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Why I have been posting all this stuff to Starship lately.

(...) All very nice. This was my original plan, as well, though I never stated it publicly. I figured this: If Faction A mass-produces something and puts it on sale, surely Faction A wouldn't be the only ones to buy it. Therefore, there'd be others (...)   Re: Blacktron Mining Operation Discovered

(...) Very nice! Wow, that base is huge. Too bad that black doesn't photograph well. I'll bet that it's even more impressive in person. Oh wait, you've disassembled it, haven't you? I like the way that you made the triangular logos on the walls (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MPD Builder ?

(...) Here's a link to an early test alpha of my program: (URL) now you can only mkae MPD and not extract file from them. I'm calling it MPD Editor until I think of something better. If you test it out, let me know if there is anything majorly wrong (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

(...) The way that my design ended up, that isn't an issue. The arm just goes up and down as the wheel/motor rotates. It doesn't go past horizontal or vertical positions (by luck, not design :^) ) (...) There's a weak spot in my signals above the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  It's over, please...

Um, you do realize that the issue has ended. Please stop facilitating the discussion. I've been enlightened and have changed my ways of going about posting messages here and seeing the AFOL community in general. Ergo: It's over. Let it die. I was (...) FX Star Patroler. Previously all I had was Lock Blocks, parents didn't want to pay for the good stuff. All but one set of my Classic collection came from other-than-parents. (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Legoland Sierksdorf

(...) Thanks for these pictures, I found them very interesting. It shows that many of the park designs did not change for years, for example the boats (the ones that you sit in) are the same as the ones in the later parks. Interesting there is some (...)   Re: Brute Force Brick

(...) I do see this as a pretty big impediment to custom LEGO electric parts. I've run into this myself, just trying to make some simple light units. My solution was this: Using silver paint, paint leads on the side of a 2x2 brick (with the center (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)
