Re: first mecha from my "protege"

(...) XP--tone down the orange and black and crank up the sand blue. Love the hand-held weapons (design tips from Jason?) You got some nice shaping on the chest and shoulders, without letting it get bulky from too many parts. I especially like the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Who Lied? (was: Halving the colours in the palette - Lego Life Sept 2004)

(...) Wait-- adding and changing colors? Where did you see that? That was part of the 2004 color change, sure, but where does it show up in this current initiative? (...) No. Back in 2000 TLC thought it was on the path to victory. In 2004 they're (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: Lego in subdomains, legal or not?

(...) Pretty interesting reading in the search, glad the name JIM SPACEBORN didn't stick around. Jack Stone might have died but they relisted it later as Live, so it's still here to stay for a while. jt (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Has anyone made an American 4-4-0 with BBB wheels?

Building an American 4-4-0 seems like the perfect use for the new BBB wheels, anyone done it yet? (I plan to give it a go myself when I can afford to get some BBB wheels to do it with :) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  building cow-catchers/ploughs?

I am looking for suggestions on how to build the cow-catcher/plough for my 6-wide Amercian 4-4-0 Steam locomotive. The plough should be 6 wide and all black. It should attach to the underside of a 1 x 4 area of studs (or to the top of the same 1 x 4 (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Sparrowhawk Pirate Strike Craft

NICE!!! Awesome ship design. The missiles are what really caught my eye though (weapons fanatic that I am), those are some cool designs! The way they fit onto the ship gives for a really cool look. -Stefan- (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) My bad. (...) That's what I based my post on. (...) Depends how you define "it". TLG is a complex entity. It seems to change its products by evolution rather than revolution. Something like colour palette would affect multiple groups, and (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: Quasar Rocketship!

(...) Lenny, Yeah, this is a good way to do it, if you have the million slope. Were I to try this, I would have to make some vomitous color combination of red, black and blue to get enough slopes. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: Sparrowhawk Pirate Strike Craft

I hereby name Soren "Mr.Space" Roberts. He has been producing the most innovative and most radical designs for the past fews months at an impressive rate.   Re: Looking for MOCs to copy :)

Thanks Guys, These are a great start. Any tips on "quenticantial" design points that make a trailer "a trailer"? i.e. Rounded end roof, wheel wells with no tires, single landscape window on the ends... Anyone else got some pics? SteveB (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Would you like fries with that, you scurvy dog? Anyway I just wanted to say I liked this ship... but also comment that Soren comes up with pretty nifty ship names. I got a couple of chuckles just looking at the folder thumbnails (21 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MPD Builder ?
