New parts: Scala Jewlery Rings  [DAT]

Scala Jewelery Rings set 4306 contained three different sized rings. Unfortunately I have only two of these rings, so I could not create all three. As my two rings have a 1 and 3 imprinted between the studs, I think I have ring #1 (the smallest) and (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Is lego *truly* unlimited? (some thoughts)

(...) From Hitchhiker's guide: "Forty-two!" yelled Loonquawl. "Is that all you've got to show for seven and a half million years' work?" "I checked it very thoroughly," said the computer, "and that quite definitely is the answer. I think the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Is lego *truly* unlimited? (some thoughts)

(...) Well, 1st off, there's probably on the order of several hundred billion pieces on the planet. I remember reading in some FAQ the estimated number of pieces in the world, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I know they make about 20 (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Thanks!

I'm glad you liked it! That one is my favourite also. If anyone has any requests for a render of an official set or MOC, I'd be happy to give it a shot! Trevor Hewer (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: N-Fedge primitives

(...) Great - we are always looking for constructive help. (...) I don't see the benefit from this - the naming convention is well established and existing part authors know how to work with it. Is it that hard to learn? (...) Yes - as I have (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Another useful link Re: Super Cief Consists

(...) I just would have been nice if ALL the hidden parts had been dk green, I already have orange and black. I was also dissapointed the jumper plates are black and not dk green. As for the build, I like the 4 stud cab, as it keeps it to scale with (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

I like the flat bed truck model with the back-hoe on it. I can't remember where the link is to the picture, but remember it well. Is it on a website? (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Wheels and train wheels with metal axles

(...) The really big problem is that there is no agreement of any standard. This has been a subject of a "political" issue that I don't think is solved. My opinion is that James Jessimam from the beginning set the most reasonable standard in (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  The Incredibles Monorail Thingy

Took the family to The Incredibles last night...most excellent!   Re: Why NQC over Robolab?

Hi, (...) Actually, I've only played with the Robolab demo version. First, Robolab is for working with the RCX. I saw no Scout or microscout support. The target of Robolab is the use in education, for example at schools. Robolab is related to (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)
