  Re: Universal Color List...finally

Hello! (...) Well, I can only speak for myself. The year is eleven months old and I can count on two hands how many new sets I have bought. No multiple copies of one and the same set, either. What I bought, however, are old-grey and old-brown parts (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Yea! More new colours! More shades of pinkish violet-green, 'cause the kids love them! This list, however universal it is deemed now, still has some drawbacks. The main problem I see is with these ugly new greys, which are on the list, and (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Lego Mindstorms e batterie

(...) Purtroppo non faccio parte di quei fortunati che hanno RCX 1.0. Uso anch'io le stesse batterie di Mario a modello finito. In fase di test della meccanica per evitare le ricariche uso il regolatore dei treni che al massimo della potenza non (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) The colour we usually call "tan" ist "Brick Yellow", Lego colour No. 5. I ordered some pieces once, and we had some difficulties matching the colours from Lego Speech to The Real World, but we managed by examining some sets, the lady from the (...)   Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) Terry, until you said that, I was saying to myself "Well he's entitled to his opinion". But to say Jake is not a real AFOL is laughable. Just search through his Lugnet messages - you'll find many posted before he even joined LEGO, on so many (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows 2004 Lego Display

(...) Paul, too bad you guys left just before Gary McIntire and I arrived -- your layout looks fantastic! The cathedral rework is great. The arch is in a class by itself. Well done! dan parker, TrainBuilder Productions, LLC (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, FTX)

Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) Oh well, I tried. I honestly tried to give it a chance, but seriously, how could I take this whole thing seriously after a post like this? I complain about the way The LEGO Company treats us and all you answer back is that you are working (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LDD v.1.3 Launches; well, not on MY computer

You can create a new one by browsing to the C:\Program Files\LEGO Software\LEGO Digital Designer\ folder, right-clicking on designer.exe, and selecting "Send To..." followed by "Desktop (Create (...)   Re: RIS 2.0 Problems

(...) There is a bug that we have dealt with that sounds similar--if a time for a Big Block is set below 0.1, so that all that displays onscreen is 0.0 in a block, it sometimes causes the program to become corrupt. You then can't edit it or do (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Re: Universal Color List conversions

Jake, A better resource for converting Lego color names to fan color names is the Isodomos Color Roots page: (URL) includes all of the colors on the Lego list provided to Peeron, plus conversions to Peeron, Bricklink, and LDraw color names.   Veneered Brick Deskplates, signs

After much tweaking of production and especially finishing techniques, I am finally ready to post a couple of pics of deskplates using my veneered bricks. I now have over 100 woods in stock and am constantly acquiring more. I know for many AFOL's (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common LEGO dream

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) With all due respect I don't think the color change had much if any real effect on sales. I am no LEGO appologist, actually the change bothers me more and more as time passes but I don't have the time or desire to waist time complaining about (...)
