CPLTC appearance at GETS 2004 - Best in Show

As one of the Canadian Prairie LEGO Train Clubs (CPLTC), the Northern Alberta LEGO Users Group (NALUG) regularly appears at local model railroad events. This year NALUG organized a 35-foot by 22-foot LEGO train display at the Great Edmonton Train (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce) !!

Re: New Moc - Stained Glass Window Mosaic

(...) (URL) (...) Thank you James, very kind. I will save you the googling and explain... Each of our provinces and territories have an "adopted" flower, that flower is a native plant to that area and in some places even protected by law. So far, in (...)   Giant Space Baby attack!

This post covers a couple of different topics, first off: <DELURK> I've been hiding in the shadows for about 6 years now, In that time I've posted only once or twice, mostly because I haven't been building much of my own stuff. However, I finally (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX) !!

(...) Lights! Yeah, you know that is a great idea. Thank you for your comments, B. (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: "Aliens"-style Armored Personnel Carrier

I like it. Your detailing is impressive -- I like the colors and the subtle greebling. B. (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The RE_wing. A recon version of the E-Wing fighter

(...) Thank you! (...) The engines do look kinda wonky -- I admit that they were rushed. I may place them on the wing, like how they are on the actual E-wing. Thanks, B. (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: The RE_wing. A recon version of the E-Wing fighter

Thank you for your comments. I agree with you on the tile aspect - I wish Lego did make larger tiles. The only ones I know of are from their Scalia series and they only come in lime green and orange (as well as being very hard to find). I also, (...)   Re: A Very Special rtlToronto Project: Group Banner

(...) I like the tripod idea better then the torch lamp. Lighter, easier to assemble, and less likely to spontaneously burst into flames. Derek (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A Very Special rtlToronto Project: Group Banner

(...) Actually, yes, it's pretty similar. The nice ones have the rollup mechanism in the base. Those are above $1K each (a killing!) I'm not even asking for that much, I just want a pole with two sticks at each end. If someone can hacksaw a tripod (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Can't make dllx - anyone else had this problem?

Ok, thanks for that. I've got it compiling now - I didn't realise liblnp had to be compiled before dllx! (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: A Very Special rtlToronto Project: Group Banner

(...) Isn't this pretty much the same as a tripod stand for a projector screen? (URL) which seem to retail for 100-200USD, brand new, with the screen. Someone must have an old one from home movies stuck in their garage that the stand could be (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Partsref DAT download problems?

(...) Thanks for doing that, Chris! (...) Nope, Steve can't do that. Todd could fix the partsref/search (I can't touch anything on the lugnet server), or Dan could add a forward to the webserver on ldraw.org to handle the requests (I have access to (...)   Re: Partsref DAT download problems?

(...) The Parts Tracker error message has now been improved, to be clearer and provide a link to the partsref search. Also if the part does exist it includes a direct link to the download area. For example see (URL) But I don't have the rights to (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
