  Re: Swap-a-Bot Program.

(...) I guess i should explain. Rob, loaned me the window walker for the TV thing and the day before, on Robs advice, I was "practicing" how to make it work. All of a sudden, I head the most painful loud CRACK. then the walker would not walk.... Rob (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Debut MOC: Castle Earthflower

Kevin, I really like this castle. The color scheme is very striking, and there are lots of nice little details all over. I especially like that you have a variety of different rooms for different purposes--kitchen, storage, bedroom, etc. That gives (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Posting for Chris to relieve boredom...

LOR stands on the table, forlorn, saying 'Finish me... Let me walk!...' which just happens to fall on deaf ears for I, Dave, train-head extra-ordinaire, have been far too busy with my modules and playing with LEGO train track :) But soon there will (...)   Re: My modular castle creations

(...) At $15 with K-Mart BOGO I think it's reasonably worthwhile. Like you say, it's got good terrain bricks, and two decent minifigs (ok, so you need to loose the Harry Potter head, but otherwise the minifigs are good). The spider has some good (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My continued idea...dunno how this will fly.....

(...) Sorry if my typing is a bit sloppy: i have a warm towell over one eye, cuts its got something in it, and i can barely see the keyboard. About the marketplace: that was my intent. All supplies would have to be gotten at the MM. nothing else (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Swap-a-Bot Program.

I want my window walker back :) I need the motors for something else. (...) I agree. This would be neat. I get first dibs on Dave's robot :) We should just trade robots after a competition. So you get to figure out exactly how someone elses creation (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ok, seems to be the best place to ask...

(...) In principle, making primitives is no different to making parts, you just need to think a little more about the generalities of what you are making and ensure the reusability factor is high enough. We are also insisting that all new primitives (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: The One Brick...(LOTR LEGO)

(...) No, you've got to understand, that isn't how TLC does it... :-) :-) :-) The set will come with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and 1 Orc. There will be one man of Gondor in the big set... :-) However, we have nothing to fear about these sets since (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Layout thoughts

(...) Looks good, but I'm curious on how a long train is able to handle coming down from an elevation and into a curve. Check to see if a constant speed allows for this, or if you have to attend to the brakes on the way down. Otherwise, this may be (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.lucny)

Ok, seems to be the best place to ask...

Looking for some form of Documenation, on MAKING not using Primitives. Prefer something that does not require a BS in math to understand. Anyone have anything they can point me to? Thanks, Dwayne Miller Barberton, Ohio USA (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Introducing Mech Cat

(...) Um, my doctor said that wasn't supposed to be contagious, sorry ;-) (...) little animation on the MicroMIBO.   Re: MAN tipper truck

(...) Nice, very nice! As usual, your attention to detail has produced a great looking model. It does take a little bit of studying to see the difference between the pics of the real truck and the model. Sorry for the late response. Your post did (...) Wayne, I like the ideas. I was trying to think of a ways to run two tracks like that. Thanks for putting the idea down in pictures. I will be looking forward to hearing back on any tests you do. Nate (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.lucny)
