Hi Guido, I'm currently working on "automating" a 12v layout as well (although I'm going the conventional analog way at the moment. so no computers involved yet). Thank you steven for posting this. I am personaly not a fan of spybotics due to there IR controls but after seening the internals I am thinking of geting one to part out.
