Re: One last HoverBike for you comic fans

(...) Ahh yes, the Secret Wars :). Maybe this could be a Symbiote Bike. lol (...) Hey, I forgot about his turbocycle that he built. For this one I remembered all those action figures that came out in the 80's, but the toy companies needed to make (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Definitely. I bet you could even find a prototype for it somewhere if you hunted hard enough. Perhaps body mounted rather than truck mounted would be necessary to avoid somewhat silly looking trucks, though. (...) Yep. They're called unit (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: A great show

(...) Hehe, that's my fault. I was the guy who answered his questions, and I told him a couple or 3 times that he needed to make sure to honor the LEGO(r) trademark, but only once about pluralization. I guess he forgot the part where I said "on (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains.org)

Cool Bikes David. I think the D-type is my favorite of the 3. Especially with the strecher strap you used as hoses coming down to the front. Very cool. Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Playing with scale

(...) The SW minis are tasty little parts packs - 80 pieces for $4, and half of them rare colors in basic usable parts. Not new pieces but rare ones. For example: orange 1x2 plates, dk.red and dk.blue 1x2 and 1x2 center stud tile (and some little (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Rotary dump for hopper cars (was: Round parts on the side of...)

(...) If the circle ends up being a bit too small to center the couplers, couldn't you build a different hopper that has the couplers a brick or two higher? Sure, it would only work with other hoppers with the same coupler design, but most of the (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Blue Express passenger train with a cool front (?)

Hello all LEGO train fans! Please have a look at my Blue Express passenger train on (URL) earlier trains have all been red or white so now I wanted to try the blue color.   Re: Fixing part 604.dat

(...) The glass should be a box. The color _should_ be 47, but personally I prefer 39. 47 looks too "milky" in renderers that use the dithering technique in my taste. But go for 47, it's more "correct" - but I'll change it back to 39 in my personal (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Playing with scale

(...) Yeah... I actually intentionally did that. To keep the "correct" scale, the cars would be 2x6, not 2x4. The shorter length makes them taller and "stubbier" somehow, and they remind me of the "Micro Machines" cars that my little brothers used (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)
