Happy New Year! It's a few minutes after midnight, ldraw.org server time (ie, GMT). The final parts update for 2002 is now available. This is update 2002-06, a small package of just 54 files.   Rule clarification.....

We have a simple rule for R13 5.The entire device at start should fit within a 12 inch cube. Originally when we gave a size limit we talked about a robot being no bigger than 12" cube. Will we allow a robot that is longer or wider than 12" with the (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Lego introduces L-gauge

(...) GMLTC was using it at the NMRA show in 1999 -- anyone else want to claim using it earlier? Hmmm... Since we've been using it for a few years, should we claim copyright on it? <grin> (...) I think we *all* agree with that!! John G, GMLTC (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Parking Lot Sale At Legoland California!

Note, it has been mentioned before, but LONG in the past, so people may have forgotten, but you CAN call them and order stuff from the tent sale and have it shipped. I just placed a small order (for me), and the S&H was about $20. Note, they tacked (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Black Falcon minifigure sculpture

(...) This is a fun tread, it made me laugh. I don't know a Wolfpack Wench, do you have a link to an image of her, Anne?   Re: Lego introduces L-gauge

This is truely thrilling to see. However, the line about a "wide variety of accessories" gave me a chuckle. I would hope that this means additional accessories such as automated points, crossing gates, etc are coming down the pike... Regardless of (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

On Tue, 31 Dec 2002, Ian Smith <ian@achrn.demon.co.uk> wrote some stuff which, due to a configuration change on my server, didn't escape to teh wide world. Therefore, I'm re-posting it.
