  Re: Camera ?'s

(...) [...] (...) Doing film photography I learned that it's best to do your cropping when you take the picture, rather than afterward.   Re: Helms Deep

Like Bruce's son, I thought the movie did a good job of adapting Jon's Lego models to the screen. The movie's Meduseld was closer than their Helm's Deep and is still my favorite. It's a good lookin' wooden hall either way. for reference... (URL) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

Well, that year flew didn't it... I sit to pen...uhhh..type a few lines to wish all the LUCNY-ites a safe and happy holiday.   Re: Six Wide Santa

(...) As for the lighting, make sure your camera is on close-up mode (the flower icon, instead of the tree). That should help with the colors. And use a flash. --Bill. (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Monorail automation

(...) Well, not always. What I ment is that, using high resolutions, you can, in effect, do a 'digital zoom' on an image-editing program. For example: (URL) took a 2048x1536 picture, then cropped out a 640x480 section, which held a monkey. The (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.publish)

(...) Personally I leave my camera set to 640x480 most of the time, though it can do 1024x768 (1.3 megapixels). That's all you need if you're just going to post it on the web. Higher resolution (i.e. more megapixels) is only needed if you want to (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.publish)
