  Re: Got my Ticket's!!!

Cool, good for you :) And would people(no one in particular) please stop appologizing for being off topic when you are about as far from being off topic as it is possible to get. It really bugs me when someone says that something dealing with SW in (...) (27 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 Size Questions (for packing).

Hello- (...) They have cafeterias here in NJ too. The problem with this otherwise brilliant acquisitive strategy is that the Mickey D's makes you cash out separately. You can't buy other merchandise at the same time. LFB (wet blanket #1) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: TPM Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Hello, (...) I really want to hear the whole thing! I've only heard snippets--but it's typical Williams dead-solid-perfect. (...) I've been bummed ever since my hand moved, as if guided by magnets, to the screenplay that is on sale at Wal-Mart. The (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: A recursion question/test...

(...) If you're not going to make it recursive, why not: $result = $n * ($n + 1) / 2; That is effectively the sum of all numbers from 0 to n. -Kekoa (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What do the set numbers mean?

(...) Generally, they mean quite a bit, but there are a lot of exceptions. The full answer can take days to answer. :) (...) Yeah. (...) No, some are 1 digit, some are 2, some are 3, and at least one is 6 digits (that's the soccer starter set: (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.admin.database)

Re: Color for M:Tron transluminece yellow

(...) For the trans/neon/yellow-gr...antifreeze color, I use color 42. The LDraw FAQ has a section on color codes, (URL). Steve (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Request regarding "Spoilers"

(...) You can see David when he was younger in A Clockwork Orange (I think it was made around the same time as SW). He picks up the old man in his wheelchair and walks down a small set of stairs. (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: All UK Groups subscribed?

(...) 1) It's not SPAM - that's unsolicited commercial e-mail, this has no monetary value whatsoever. 2) I don't want newbies going to local groups seeing that no-one posts there and therefore thinking that there is no UK LEGO Community and not (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Cone primitives

(...) What does the numeral at the end of the name signify? (1-4con'3') If I make a cone that matches the slop I need for the canopy, how would I determine what to call it? --Karim (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Question about classic ESSO Service Station

I have a few questions for our European and early Samsonite collectors about the late 50's - early 60's ESSO Service Station #310 produced in Europe only I believe. In the USA/Canada I believe this building only came with the Town Plan (#725). This (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Sith Infiltrator

I just watched the trailer again (and again and again and again...), and finally noticed something which filled me with a certain ominous forboading. The Sith Infiltrator, while not being as horribly out-to-lunch as the box picture indicates, is (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: How can I find information about specific LEGO pieces?

I know James Jessiman had a fairly extensive (but certainly not exhaustive) database on what parts came with what sets in what colors in what years. I'm not sure if it's still available. As far as a LUGNET project, there is the lugnet.db.inv group (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Unsubscribe (Geez, again?)

  SW <-> Russia conspiracy

Given: Russian president Boris Yeltsin's impeachment hearings start today. Given: Star Wars EP I tickets go on sale today, but not in Russia. Coincidence? I think not. Cheers, - jsproat (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
