Re: An innovative way to remove printing from small Lego elements

What are the other ways? And does it work for the sloped bricks too? Jimmy (26 years ago, 24-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

I don't think this is appropriate here. In lugnet.marketplace maybe, but just 'cause you had a dissagreement doesn't mean you should post your problems all over lugnet. -John Van Allen Carley wrote in message <36F935FD.C66C3C09@i...om.com>... (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: LEGO Image Quality - was Crown Gear

(...) There's another Throw Bot piece that I've seen showing up on the newer Technic models. The first one that I noticed it on was that new green crane truck.   Re: Semi-ADMIN: Pause Train Reference Improvement Work in Good Shape

Pedant alert... One could make the argument that 2585 is mis-categorized. It's a self propelled vehicle, not a car. Cars are characterised by not having motive power.   My First attempt at a TIE interceptor

Well, I recently just got back into building Legos. Really long time away from them, but the Star Wars legos got me interested again. So I bought all the sets and really felt like custimizing the TIE Fighter, so I tried to build the TIE Interceptor. (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I'll go even further than saying the probelm is caused by the lack of bulk bricks.   hitch designs for articulated/semi trailer trucks (wasRe: Lego Truck in Wellington

Here's my net net on this discussion. The 2148/3442 (same design, different colors) design is flawed. A 2x2 turntable plate does not provide enough degrees of freedom. There are several other possible designs that do. The 6367, the 4549, and other (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-99, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.build)

I've been noticing lately that some of the more interesting Technic parts appearing on the ThrowBots are starting to show up in other Lego technic models.   Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

I agree with John concerning the current state that most Lego enthusiasts share, is the lack of bulk bricks from TLG, and the necessity of buying certain sets. From: Eric Brok <brok@fcjsvc.hvu.nl> (...) The new gear looks very cool. It looks like the 16t gear, but it appears that it can be used as a crown gear or a normal gear.
